Take in the colonial architecture of sights like Cathedral of Our Lady of Conception before heading off to wander between the stalls of the Mercado Central Market. Take a load off as you sit down at a local restaurant for an authentic meal before heading back to the beach!

They’ll take you to where you need to be for a blood-pumping game of tug-o-war with a beast of the deep. When you’re in Barra, there are no tales about “the one that got away”!

A short boat trip across the bay from the Barra peninsula, you’ll find the quiet sands of Linga Linga. If you’re able to drag yourself from the beach in this tiny slice of paradise, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant before returning to Barra.
